Services:
Coaching, like remodeling, is very transactional. You get paid to go into someone’s home and renovate their space. You determine what needs to be done by evaluating the space, seeing what the client has in mind and then making your suggestions. If you’re a top level performer at this, you go one time for free, give them a price range and then sell them a design contract so that you get paid for your intellectual property. They get a nicely designed project, well executed and with quality materials. You get money to pay your people, yourself and the company makes a profit; or at least you should if you value yourself and provide a quality experience for the client.
My business is very much the same. We have a 30 minute introduction call. Then you choose which package below.
I dig into your business, evaluate your processes and the results of those processes. Then we put together a plan for improvement. It really is that simple, but it won’t be easy.

Why Work With Me?
I built my remodeling company from the ground up and learned many lessons through years of trial and error. I invested tens of thousands of dollars and countless hours figuring out what works—and now I use that experience to help business owners like you. Let me help you shorten the learning curve, increase profitability, and build a business that operates efficiently and effectively.
If you are still debating how I can help you here are some thoughts from each of the 3 areas of your business; Sales, Production and Accounting. These are just a few areas that I can help.
Sales:
Estimating
Profitability starts with accurate estimating. I can help you implement a profitable estimating system that you can eventually hand off to a dedicated team member. We’ll address critical elements like cost, markup, margin, job autopsies, contract language, terms, formatting, and invoicing—all designed to ensure smooth cash flow. Estimating is where profitability planning truly begins.
Design-Build Transition
Are you running a successful business and ready to shift to a design-build model where you’re paid to write estimates? I can guide you through the steps to make that move. This approach transitions you from offering free estimates to being compensated for the time and expertise required to create detailed, accurate project estimates.

Market Analysis
Ready to attract higher-end clients and leave behind those who scrutinize every dollar? I’ll help you analyze your market and position your business to appeal to a clientele that values quality and professionalism.
Sales Coaching
Want to be more selective about the clients you work with? Or feel confident responding to potential clients who say, “Jimbob is 20% cheaper”? Effective sales techniques require structure and practice. I provide the guidance and coaching you need to refine your approach, so you can confidently secure the right clients while protecting your margins.
Production:
Managing construction projects successfully requires more than just technical knowledge—it takes strong scheduling and process management skills. These elements are often the difference between projects delivered on time and on budget versus ones that run over both.
Many residential construction business owners struggle to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and avoid extensive punch lists, often blaming the client. However, the ultimate responsibility lies with the project manager.
Common Challenges:Quality trade partners, effective scheduling, managing client expectations based on their listening style, effective communication, poor follow up. All of these potential “profit shrink” issues have simple processes that I can help you develop.
Change Orders: Change orders are a significant source of profit shrink. I can help you create a clear, efficient process for identifying, communicating, and charging for change orders to protect the profit you planned for during estimating.
Let me help you and your team enhance profitability by mastering project management for scope, timelines, and client satisfaction.
Accounting:
Reports and Systems
Are you able to confidently read and interpret your key business reports? A Profit & Loss statement should leave no room for confusion about your expenses or costs. Can you generate job cost reports by project to see exactly where every dollar went?
We’ll set up systems to manage receipts and invoices efficiently, ensuring they’re integrated seamlessly into your accounting software. I specialize in QuickBooks Online and can assist with everything from initial setup to cleanup. Together, we’ll create processes, train your team, and put systems in place to give you full control of your financials.
